🍁 Hazrat Malik Raziyallahu 'anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah ﷺ ne irshaad farmaaya: Woh do bhooke bhediye jinhe bakriyon ke reward mein chord diya jaye bakriyon ko utna nuqsaan nahi pahunchate jitna aadmi ke deen ko, maal ki hiris aur bada banne ki chahat nuqsan pahunchati hai. (Tirmizi: 2376)

🍁 Hani Rahimahullahu, the freed slave of 'Uthman Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that when 'Uthman stood by a grave he would weep until his tears wet his beard. So, he was asked; When Paradise and Hell are mentioned, you do not weep, but (why do) you weep at this (sight of the grave)? So he replied: Indeed, Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: Verily, the grave is the first stage among the stages of the Hereafter; if one is saved from (the Punishment of) it then what is to follow will be easier. And if one does not find safety from it, then what is to follow shall be more severe than it. And Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: I have not seen a sight more horrifying than (the Punishment of) the grave. (Tirmidhi: 2308)
